"Out of the Ashes, comes new Life" truly describes the transformation of the New Stahlstown Trinity Community Church.
On December 4th, 2022, our original church was destroyed by fire. Since that time, the congregation has been transformed into a church whose hearts have been set on fire for JESUS by the HOLY Spirit. When we opened the doors last December, we began to rebuild our church on the solid rock of Christ. Our motto in January became “Turn the page.” Turn the page on all the disappointments and hurts, that formed over the years, and to forgive, set aside all the wrongs, show mercy, help all those in need, hold no grudges, and welcome all…. but most importantly love our brothers and sisters with the love of Christ. We literally turned the page on everything that came before and placed it at the foot of the cross. Our desire was to be made new again.
Because of our change we have begun to grow and prosper. Church is a place where we belong, have friendships and have fun together. We were blessed by Rabbi Lenny Sarko leading us through a Seder meal, the women painting pictures together, having a variety of services for healing and baptisms, Common Ground (a Pentecostal group) leading us in worship, a rededication of our church for GOD, and bible studies in Discipleship and Genesis.
Still up and coming this fall will be beginning on Sunday, October 5, at 9am... the Study of Daniel, also beginning in October, will be a new youth group, plans for a Live Nativity, the Young Adults, Children’s Church, and Men’s Ministry. We desire to live our lives as Christ has directed us through the scriptures… more importantly, to know His word and to gather together to lift one another up.
